Our Children’s Library is a welcoming space designed for kids from birth to age twelve. The children’s area offers a place to read, play and discover. Explore our extensive collection of picture books, chapter books, non-fiction resources, and magazines.
We offer computers that have educational games and others with internet access. Dive into our wide selection of diverse and inclusive stories. We also have a variety of fun, free events, including our popular “Story Times.”

Book Babies – Ages 0-2 years
Children ages 0-2, and their caregivers, are invited to join Miss Debbie in the Children’s Activity Room for stories, songs, and fingerplays. Every Wednesday, 10:00am–11:00am.
Storytime! – Ages 3+
Children ages 3 and up, and their caregivers, are invited to join us for stories, songs, and crafts. Every Wednesday, 11:00am–12:00pm.
Family Lego Night
Families can come and have a fun night with Lego. Each creation will be on display for a month. Last Tuesday of the month, 6:30pm.
Family VR Night
Explore new experiences with our Meta Quest 3! Recommended for ages 6-up. First Tuesday of the month, 6:00pm.

Literacy Bell
When children read their first book on their own, they can come in and ring the Literacy Bell!
Children’s Garden
Every summer, Miss Debbie hosts a Children’s Garden Club. Kids have the opportunity to get their hands dirty, start some seeds, and plant out the Children’s Garden beds. Hands-on activities in the garden encourage curiosity, creativity, and a love for nature.
