The Paris-Bourbon County Library has officially opened our 2026 Seed Library! Every year we offer free seeds to community members to check-out, plant, grow and share. The initiative aims to promote gardening, sustainability and community engagement by encouraging residents of all ages to get their hands in the dirt, start their own gardens, and connect with nature and our food systems.
The Seed Library is available during regular library hours and welcomes both seasoned growers and first-time gardeners to explore a variety of heirloom seeds. The program reflects the library’s commitment to lifelong learning and local connection in Paris and Bourbon County.
To place your seed order, you must be a current library card-holder in good standing.
Visit our Seed Library page to learn more and to place an online order.
Order forms are also available at the Circulation Desk at the Paris and Millersburg Branches, or pick one up at a Bookmobile Stop!
